Here at On the Wire we love layering up our sustainable jewellery. From Bangles to Rings to Hoops, we love a stack.

So here is a little blog post for a bit of inspiration when it comes to stacking our recycled silver jewellery!

How many pieces of Jewellery makes a stack?

Well, here at On the Wire Jewellery we count anything more than 1 as a good stack. And when it comes to rings we sometimes feel that 3 can be a crowd, so a wee double Stacker Ring is really the perfect duo in our eyes. And even better our Rings are unisex, so anyone can wear them!

 

What are our favourite stackable pieces?

That is a hard question, but we do have a few ideas.

The best thing about sterling silver is it looks incredible when layered up; interweaving pieces reflecting each other. So here are our favourites:

First up are our delicately textured Bangles. Handmade from recycled sterling silver, these beauties look incredible as a stack of three. We love how thin they are, and when worn together they make such a joyful jingling sound!

Second on our list of favourites is something a little different. We've stacked up our big and mini Hammered Line Earrings, for a look that stands out and is truly unique. We just love how minimalist they are but completely original in a stack formation. Take a look:

 

 

Now here is a classic piece of jewellery, but when layered up in a stack we think it looks completely new. Our Hammered Hoops are minimalist delicate earrings, but with a simple hammered texture. They absorb and reflect the sunlight in such a beautiful way, just as water reflects glowing sunlight from the sea.
