This ring is named after the dimpled sands of St Ives. Specifically a small secluded beach called Porthmeor, where the sun sets directly in front of you if you're lucky enough to get a good spot. All of my experiences of the coast have led me to the textures and shapes I use in my experimental jewellery today.
This ring is handmade from recycled sterling silver, with a dimpled texture - I love the way the dips refract the light just like a craggy coastline. This D-shape ring is crafted to size from 100% recycled silver, measuring 6mm in width.
